Next to the park is the feria ground where the flea market is held. In Benalmadena there is a booming hotel industry to which hundreds of thousands of tourists flock each year. Much of the trade is through package holiday companies. There are also thousands of apartments for rent.
In the centre of town there is the famous

morning discos which is very popular with
the youngsters. To the western end of Benalmádena
on the way to Fuengirola is the 5 star Torrequebrada

is also very popular for people looking
to move to Spain. Its ease of access to
the holiday market, great beaches, major
tourist attractions and enviable climate
all help to explain why Benalmádena is fast

Benalmadena Costa has something for everyone, the Parque de la Paloma being only part of the ambience of the town. The park features a large lake with a fountain and waterfall, and is surrounded by landscaped gardens with enclosures for a variety of animals and birds. Rabbits and other wildlife roam free. The cactus garden is a new area near to the right-hand top corner of Parque de la Paloma. There is an amazing array of cacti from all over the world. It is open to the rest of the park and there is no charge.
One of the main highlights of Benalmadena Costa is the beautiful marina, with over a thousand moorings and what many authorities have claimed to be the best marina in the world.
